Two BSU students wrote a proposal for a web-based application that will help users make best food choices. The plan earned them a spot presenting next month at Barilla’s fourth annual International Forum on Food and Nutrition in Milan.
Throughout the day at Career Services’ annual Internship and Job Fair, more than 300 students and alumni in the campus center’s large ballroom networked with representatives from 62 organizations offering full-time job and internship opportunities.
Professor Mary Dondero, associate professor of art at Bridgewater State University, will present the exhibition "Perception, Memory and Landscape," Nov. 13 through Dec. 20 at the Wallace L. Anderson Gallery and in Maxwell Library. The exhibition represents work she created during an artist residency at Zion National Park. A Scholarship Fundraising Gala featuring music performed by the Department of Music will be held Monday, Oct. 22 in Boyden Hall's Horace Mann Auditorium at 8 p.m. General admission is $15 while the cost is $10 for senior citizens, alumni and employees. Students are free.
Winter Dance 2012 continues its tradition of staging performances choreographed and starring advanced dance students at Bridgewater State University, under the artistic director of Dr. Nancy Moses, professor of theater and dance. Performances will be Dec. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rondileau Campus Center Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for the general public; $8 for senior citizens, members of the military and students with ID, as well as for youth age 17 and under.
