Students have little trouble finding parking spots these days thanks to BSU's recently constructed parking garage in East Campus, which provides additional parking for 840 vehicles.

The garage, located in the Lower Great Hill lot, includes an enclosed elevator/stair tower, entrance from Great Hill Drive, security camera system and a system for fire protection.

The construction project, which began last May, is one of several recent campus construction projects, including a new 500-bed residence hall, sited between Crimson Hall and the new parking garage. Construction on the hall is set for completion fall 2013.

Over the past decade, BSU has spent $250 million on physical plant expansion and $70 million on renovations.
