Artist Anne Heywood, ’90, was presented the Silver Award by the International Association of Pastel Society for the 2nd Masters Circle Exhibition at the 10th IAPS Biennial Convention in Albuquerque, NM. Heywood's pastel, "Walk in the Woods IV", was her winning painting, chosen from among numerous entries by other members of IAPS's exclusive Master Circle, a distinction conferred upon only a small percentage of IAPS members worldwide. Ann is a ’90 graduate, member of the Alumni Chamber Choir and was selected by the Bridgewater Alumni Association as the 2012 recipient of the Dr. Adrian Tinsley Award for Achievement in the Arts.
