As a student of the MBA program you may pursue a generalist track, or choose from two concentrations:
- Accounting – Including coursework in Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Advanced Taxation and Business Law, as well as an Accounting Seminar – all specifically designed to support those wanting to sit for Massachusetts CPA examinations.
- General Management – Including coursework in Organizational Development, Change, Leadership and Technology Management.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics projections of 2008-2018 employment needs, occupations in the master’s and first professional degree categories are expected to grow by about 18 percent. A large portion of these jobs is expected to develop in management, scientific and technical consulting fields. A substantial number are also expected in several other large or rapidly growing sectors, including government, healthcare and social assistance, finance and insurance and construction.
